Provides skilled nursing interventions in the treatment of the patient/client's illness, rehabilitative needs and preventative care. Utilizes a holistic approach in the provision of ongoing assessments, problem identification and specific therapeutic interventions, teaching and training activities. Responsible to apply professional knowledge and skills, in accordance with accepted standards of clinical practice, to facilitate problem resolution, and thereby, the achievement of individualized patient/client goals and outcomes. |
Requirements: |
Bachelors or Associates degree in Nursing. Previous experience in acute patient care setting preferred. Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of Louisiana. |
